Backwordle is a new twist on the Wordle classic. The game's goal is to reverse-engineer a Wordle. The grid of yellow and gray squares is presented to you, along with the five-letter green goal word. You must then infer from these the four guesses that produced the pattern.
The gray letters won't be repeated in any future guesses. Only the yellow ones. The terms all come from a popular list, but there could be many others that would follow the same pattern.
Each problem begins with a list of all the vowels that make up the word. You can work on the puzzle in any order you like. Clicking on a button is all it takes to check the accuracy of a word. The game shows you all of the correct letters but subtracts a score if the word is incorrect.
Backwordle offers a hint feature in the event that you are stuck. Click the + button to the left of the word target. This will show you the letter that is missing. This suggestion will cost you one point. Why is there a delay? Backwordle is the best way to enjoy all of these possibilities.

Controls
Participants in the challenge use a mouse and follow the instructions. Although all of the keywords are on the list of moderately frequent words, there are many more that may fit the pattern but are not on the list owing to their rarity. Success!
